According to China Railway, from midnight on December 30, 2019, a new train operation route will be implemented across China. After the adjustment, 263.5 pairs of passenger trains were added nationwide, reaching a total number of 4,816.5 pairs.

The number of trains that stop by Zhongshan Station per day has increased to 76 (38 up trains and 38 down trains), with 11 new trains newly added. This adjustment has little impact on high-speed trains at Zhongshan Station. Specifically, the departure time of D3608 from Zhongshan Station to Nanning East Station is advanced from 8:20 to 7:46.

The number of trains that stop by Zhongshan North Station has been reduced to 44 (21 up trains and 23 down trains), with 13 trains canceled.
