The toll-free policy will not be applied to highways during the Dragon Boat Festival.

The pre-festival road traffic is expected to peak at 18:00 or so on May 27. The traffic on Zhongshan-Jiangmen Highway will begin to creep upward from 15:00 on 27, all the way up to the peak at 18:00 and then go downward to normal traffic at 2:00 on May 28. Traffic congestion is expected to reach the maximum from 10:00-12:00 on May 28 and the least on May 29. May 30 is the last day of the Dragon Boat Holiday and will see traffic to peak again from 14:00-20:00 and go back to normal at 22:00.
