On March 1, Guangzhou-Zhongshan tourists' shuttle buses put into operation. It is the first tourists’ shuttle buses covering different administrative regions in Guangdong Province. Zhongshan takes the initiative again in implementing national tourism leisure plan.

On the first day, over 200 visitors came to Zhongshan from Guangzhou by these buses, which keeps in daily operation with 5 stops: starting from Guangzhou Martyr Cemetery at 8:00 am; arriving at Former Residence of Dr. Sun Yet-sen and CCTV Zhongshan Studio, stopping for about one and a half hours; arriving at Zhan’s Garden, stopping for about one and a half hours; then arriving at Shangri-La Hotel, people who would like to stay for a night in the hotel could get off the bus; at last, arriving at Hiyet Oriental Hotel, stopping for about 2 hours. The shuttle buses return to Guangzhou at about 5:00 pm.
