With the bus of 48 seats leaving the Summit Station around 7:00 am on December 7, the Eternal East Zhongshan-Hong Kong direct bus officially became operational in East District.

"The bus will no longer stop at other stations in Zhongshan. After going through the customs at Shenzhen Bay and making a simple transfer in Hong Kong, it will not stop at every station," said Liu Jun, customer service director of Fuyun Eternal East (Zhongshan) Passenger Station Co Ltd.

At present, the working time of the Zhongshan-Hongkong direct bus is from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, with 18 trips traveling between Zhongshan and Shenzhen Bay every day. The bus will arrive at Shenzhen Bay in 1.5 hours, and then go through the customs and transfer.

Passengers are free to transfer to 24 service stations in 18 regions of Hong Kong, including Tsim Sha Tsui, Yau Ma Tei, Mong Kok, Prince Edward, Sham Shui Po, Hong Kong International Airport, Hong Kong Disneyland, Hong Kong AsiaWorld-Expo, Tseung Kwan O and Tuen Mun. It takes about 2.5 hours to reach the nearest station in Hong Kong from Zhongshan.
