On June 15, a ceremony was held to mark the cooperation between the Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine and the Zhongshan Torch Development Zone People's Hospital. The two sides will cooperate in clinical care, scientific research and teaching, professional training, and hospital management.

Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine will assist Zhongshan Torch Development Zone People's Hospital in setting up special disease treatment departments, including formulating development plans for special disease treatment, training medical professionals, developing TCM-based therapies, new technologies and new projects, and regularly assessing the development of special disease treatment; arranging for experts to provide training, free medical consultation, ward visiting and special lectures; and providing preferential services such as consultation and referral for patients with complex and critical diseases.
