The Guangdong Quality Supervision Smart Home Security Product Inspection Station was unveiled on August 12 in Xiaolan Town, Zhongshan. It is currently the only smart home security product inspection station in Guangdong.

The station has laboratory areas of nearly 3,000 square meters. It is capable of inspecting more than 880 parameters for over 80 kinds of home security products, including such popular intelligent security products as smart door locks, facial recognition equipment, intrusion detectors and security alarm equipment, as well as security locks, electronic and electrical security products, hardware, building materials and etc.

Previously, most Zhongshan-based enterprises had to send their samples to Shanghai, Beijing or Guangzhou for inspection, which was costly and time-consuming. But now, local inspection services are available, and the time needed can be shortened from 2 months to about 20 days.
