Ms Zhao, a resident in the Torch Development Zone, recently booked the nursing services of the Torch Development Zone Hospital online, becoming the first resident to make an appointment since the launch of "Internet Plus Nursing Dervices" of the hospital.

Zhao was very satisfied with the visiting service, remarking that the online appointment was convenient and she learned the professional knowledge of neonatal care at home.

This year, Guangdong Province became one of the 6 provinces (direct-controlled municipalities) to pilot the program of "Internet Plus Nursing Dervices" across the country, and Zhongshan became one of the 9 piloting areas in Guangdong in April.

Zhongshan has 10 piloting organizations for "Online Nurse Appointment": Xiaolan People's Hospital, Chen Xinghai Hospital, Guzhen People's Hospital, Torch Development Zone Hospital, Dongfeng People's Hospital, South District Hospital, Zhongshan Asia Pacific Hospital, Zhongshan Tongfang Hospital, Qiwan Community Health Service Center in East District, and Jiayouyisheng Polyclinic.

The online platform for "Internet Plus Nursing Services" of "Healthy Zhongshan" APP in Zhongshan City was officially launched in July. Citizens only need to book online nursing services through the platform, and wait for the visiting service of nurses once they have selected the required service and paid their fees online.
