Lion and dragon dancing in the ancestral hall
2016-11-07

Residents of Nanwen Community in Dachong town are enjoying themselves in different ways. Women are dancing happily in the cultural plaza, while men are practicing lion and dragon dance enthusiastically in the ancestral hall.

As a local security officer, Xiao Runyuan had a bold idea of making full use of the ancestral hall of the village to provide a fitness place for the young people, where they can learn some traditional skills of lion and dragon dance. The idea was greatly supported as it not only made young people’s life rich and full but also decreased many security problems. Therefore, the ancestral hall has become the favorite “Youth Paradise” for the young people.
