The 8th Guangdong Standard Chinese Character Writing Qualification Contest of Primary and Middle School Students & the Final of the 8th Zhongshan Standard Chinese Character Writing Contest (soft-tipped calligraphy) of Primary and Middle School Students was held in Zhonggang English Middle School on 22nd October. Over 280 primary and middle students participated and wrote proverbs, poems and idioms on the spot. After careful selection, 20 works of primary students, 20 works of middle school students and 10 works of teachers won first prizes 

Together with 100 hard-tipped calligraphy works, the 50 first-prize soft-tipped calligraphy works will take part in the 8th Guangdong Standard Chinese Character Writing Contest of Primary and Middle School Students on behalf of Zhongshan.
