A donation ceremony of Mingyang Education Fund was held at Torch Development Zone on January 19. The representatives of Mingyang Smart Energy Group, the Zhongshan Branch of Red Cross Society of China, the Red Cross Society of Torch Development Zone and the Education Affairs Service Center of Torch Development Zone entered into a donation agreement. Under this agreement, Mingyang Education Fund donated 15 million yuan for education in Torch Development Zone.

As a leader in China's wind power industry, Mingyang has operated in Torch Development Zone for nearly three decades. The fund will be used to support, reward and develop education projects in Torch Development Zone.

Besides, the construction planning of Mingyang Primary School has been started, with early preparations under way.
