Zhongshan Institute for Drug Discovery, SIMM, CAS (ZIDD) was recently approved as a postdoctoral research workstation, marking new achievements ZIDD made in terms of top talent cultivation and scientific research platform construction.

ZIDD always attaches great importance to talent cultivation and scientific research innovation, and it has thorough plans on the promotion of postdoctoral research. ZIDD has recruited 23 postdoctoral researchers (including 3 overseas returnees). Since its establishment of a Guangdong postdoctoral innovation practice base in 2020, ZIDD's postdoctoral researchers have participated in 4 national, 2 provincial and 3 municipal-level science and technology projects covering antineoplastic, nerve diseases and brain development areas.
