The much-concerned enrolment eligibility allocation by computer to 4 junior middle schools directly administered by Zhongshan Municipal Party Committee was held yesterday morning. A total of 1130 primary school graduates were granted enrolment eligibility to the four schools, including 490 to No.1 Middle School of Zhongshan, 490 to Zhongshan Overseas Chinese Secondary School, 100 to Sun Yat-sen Memorial Secondary School and 50 to Zhongshan Experimental Secondary School. The quota remained the same as last year, but applicants increased by 1000, thus bringing down the winning odds in Shiqi area to 20.33% and those in townships to 3.77%. It was learned that the acceptance letter will be sent to students on Jul.8.
