Holding by Guangdong Bureau of Education and sponsored by the Art Institution of South China University of Technology, the first Guangdong Music Instruments Contest closed recently. 108 primary schools, middle schools and universities took part in the contest. Zhongshan students won 8 first prizes: Five programs from the Experimental Primary School won the first prize of primary school ordinary group. Two programs from Zhongshan First Middle School won the first prize of middle school ordinary group. Zhongshan Teenagers Philharmonic Orchestra won the first prize of middle school professional group.
