A goodwill delegation of Zhongshan Overseas Chinese Middle School, led by Dr. Choi Koon-shum, Chairman of School Management Committees, visited Raffles Institution and Raffles Girls’ School in Singapore and signed sister-school agreement with these two schools recently.
According to the agreement, both sides will send exchange teams to learn the culture and education of each other, and explore or research on special subjects. Dr. Choi Koon-shum, Member of National Committee of CCPPC, Chairman of the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, Chairman of School Management Committees of Zhongshan Overseas Chinese Middle School witnessed the signing ceremony and appreciated the warm welcome of Raffles Institution. He hoped the two schools can develop better by cooperation.
It is known that Raffles Institute is a public school in Singapore; Former Premier Lee Kuan Yew and Singapore Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong have studied in this school.
