On Jan.5, Zhongshan will officially usher in the age of HSR (High-speed rail). A day before that, officials in Huoju Development Zone Fire Brigade gave Zhongshan Station a thorough overhaul on fire prevention and offered firefighting training to security guards there.

Fan Chuiman, captain of the brigade, said that an increased traffic flow as a result of the opening of several high-speed rails on Jan.5 is sure to put more pressure on fire prevention. To make sure that passengers can enjoy a safe station, the fire brigade perfected emergency preplan.
