Zhongshan Civil Affairs Bureau releases Notice on Promoting Volunteering Service and decides to promote the volunteering service based on the 24 social workers service station around Zhongshan. The purpose for promotion of social workers and volunteers is to warmly help those who need help, bringing people closer and more harmonious through care and love.

With a pilot scheme in the past months, the organizer has recruited 237 volunteers, hold volunteering service training for 23 times, and provided volunteering service for 57 times. The service amounts to 1553 times and 1233 hours. Among others, Zhongshan Volunteering Federation Civil Affairs Branch has recruited about 100 volunteers and organized to provide service for residents for many times.
