The 2021 "Zhongshan Yingchun Cup" Peking University Alumni Football Invitational started in Zhongshan on the morning of April 11, with 4 teams composed of nearly 200 PKU alumni across China participating.

On the referee's whistle, Hunan, Beijing, Greater Bay Area and the host teams kicked off the competition at the same time in 2 venues.

During the invitational period, dozens of Peking University alumni who work and live in Zhongshan will help promote the city. They will show the promotional video of Zhongshan, plan tourism routes and took other PKU alumni to visit Zhongshan's scenic spots and taste traditional delicacies so as to share a deeper, more comprehensive understanding of the city's characteristics and development opportunities.
