While families reunited for the Mid-Autumn Festival on September 21, the east main tower of the Zhongshan Bridge of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge sealed its top. So far, the 4 main towers of the Lingdingyang and Zhongshan Bridges of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge had all sealed their tops and the next stage of construction on the bridge superstructure has begun.

The Zhongshan Bridge of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge is a double-tower cable-stayed bridge. After completion, its main towers will be 213.5 meters high, equivalent to the height of a 70-story building.

At present, construction on the bridges, islands, tunnels and underwater interchanges of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge are pressing ahead. The high-precision installation of 13 tunnel pipe sections exceeding 2,000 meters in total length have been completed.
