In service to the health of overseas compatriots, the 31st China (Zhongshan) medical team to the Republic of Equatorial Guinea (Bata) was divided into 3 medical groups to support the "Spring Vaccination Campaign" under the leadership of the Consulate General of China in Bata.

On March 7, the Chinese government launched the "Spring Vaccination Campaign" to actively assist in vaccinating overseas compatriots against COVID-19. The Vaccination Center of Bata Hospital officially began carrying out vaccination for Chinese citizens in the mainland of Republic of Equatorial Guinea on March 18.

The first vaccine doses for local Chinese citizens were a success. All medical team members voluntarily spent their day off on Saturdays giving the second dose of the vaccine. The actions were unanimously praised by the Ambassador, Consul General, and local Chinese citizens in the Republic of Equatorial Guinea.
