On July 1, more than 600 Party members from various government units in Zhongshan actively participated in the annual blood drive to celebrate the 99th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.

Ms Jiang has joined the blood drive for 6 consecutive years. This is her first-time donating blood since moving to Zhongshan. "I am very proud to pass on my love in a special way and contributing to the public welfare. I am glad to see that more and more people are willing to participate in this public welfare activity," she said.

Ms Liang, head of the blood station, said that Party members and cadres who volunteer to donate blood make an important contribution to Zhongshan in being awarded annually as the "National Advanced City for Voluntary Blood Donation".
