The opening ceremonies of the adjusted Xiaolan Town, Minzhong Sub-district and Nanlang Sub-district were held at their local government centers on the morning of July 20.

In June this year, the Guangdong provincial government approved the changes of some administrative divisions in Zhongshan: Xiaolan Town and Dongsheng Town were integrated into the new Xiaolan Town; Minzhong Town was changed to Minzhong Sub-district and Nanlang Town to Nanlang Sub-district. After this adjustment, Zhongshan now has 8 sub-districts and 15 towns.

Now, Xiaolan Town takes responsibility of the administrative areas of the former Xiaolan Town and Dongsheng Town, and the town government center is located at No.8 Shengping Middle Road (address of the former Xiaolan Town Government).

Minzhong Sub-district takes responsibility of the administrative area of Minzhong Town and the sub-district office is located at No.61, Liubailiu Road (address of the former Minzhong Town Government).

Nanlang Sub-district takes responsibility of the administrative areas of Nanlang Town and Ma'an Village in the Haibin Community of Torch Development Zone, and its sub-district office is located at No.26 Meijing Avenue (address of the former Nanlang Town Government).
