The main structure of No.1 outpatient building of the Sri Lanka National Hospital aided by China recently finished construction. The building, which will become a landmark in Sri Lanka, is not only built with local architectural characteristics, but also meets the anti-seismic requirements protecting from up to magnitude 8 earthquakes. Anti-seismic products used in this project are all made by NPY Technology Co Ltd, a Zhongshan-based enterprise.

"The National Hospital is the largest public hospital in Sri Lanka, serving patients from all over the country. The maximum capacity of patients per day will triple to 6,000 after the completion of the No.1 outpatient building, so the construction should be careful and meticulous." According a spokesperson of NPY Technology, at present, more than half of the mechanical and electrical engineering of non-structural buildings involved in the project have been completed, and the project is expected to be finished by the end of 2021.

NPY Technology is a national high-tech enterprise specializing in the research of seismic vibration reduction technology. It has successfully aided such important projects as the Earthquake Engineering Research & Test Center of Guangzhou University, Beijing Daxing International Airport, China (Hainan) Museum of the South China Sea, New National Stadium of Cambodia, Huawei 5G Mobile Data Center, and Beijing Institute of Nanoenergy and Nanosystems of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
