Agreement signed for interactive propaganda in “Hometowns of Three Great Men”

Zhongshan, Xiangtan, and Guang’an, hometowns of three great men Sun Yat-sen, Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping, signed an agreement of Making Interactive Propaganda for Hometowns of Three Great Men in the 20th Century in China, cooperating together to create a new tourism brand.

The interactive propaganda is running with an order of Guang'an, Zhongshan and Xiangtan. Each city takes turns to take charge of all the year work from 2009, including undertaking all working meetings of the current year, making working plans, summarizing annual work and leading other members to organize and promote the implementation of related propagandas and etc.

Every year, three large-scaled propagandas will be held on the birthday memorial of three great men or during significant activities in each city to form integrated linkages by covering the same theme and focusing on the same city. In 2009, three cities will interactively propagandize simultaneously in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the founding of the PRC.

Representatives from the three cities said that this activity provides an excellent platform in making full use of media advantages, enlarging media effects, increasing the reputation of cities and bringing favorable environment for economic, social, cultural and scientific development. At present, the three cities have established a tourism association and designed a trip of “Hometowns of Three Great Men in the 20th Century in China”, which has already become an important brand in the area of pan-PRD tourism, a top route of national red tourism and a worldwide famous tourism product.
