Recently, the 2011 Shiqi Leisure Culture Festival was held to commemorate the 1911 Revolution. The festival features a lotus exhibition in Shiqi Central Park. Zhongshan Hongtai and Zhongshan Lotus, the two species that only Zhongshan boasts of and have been settling here for more than 100 years, are in full bloom and proudly displaying their beauty against a serene summer sky.
