Torch Development Zone on December 12 commenced the construction of its 10 major industrial projects.

Around 9 am on December 12, in an open space near a Casio factory in Torch Development Zone, people waved shovels to break ground for the Industrial Development Intelligent Equipment Industry Project. That same day, Torch Development Zone launched 10 major industrial projects, which involve a total investment of 2.111 billion yuan and cover a total area of 484 mu (about 322666.7 square meters). Their total annual output is estimated to reach 4.3 billion yuan, and the tax revenue will reach 260 million yuan.

These ten projects under construction include: Industrial Development Intelligent Equipment Industry Project, Zhongshan Huigu Group Headquarters Agglomeration Center Project, Allstar Tech Expansion Project, Xinyuan Industrial Factory Building Project, J&D Activated Carbon Filter Phase II Expansion Project, Mingliangyuan Industrial Factory Building Project, Nihon Plast Expansion Project, Linfan Industrial Factory Building Project, Zhongshan Torch Smart Health Town Residential Facilities Construction Project, Bioon Building Renovation Project. These projects will add a "main engine" to Torch Development Zone's industrial and economic development.
