The Zhongshan Bureau of Commerce set up a service and trade promotional item for the special Zhongshan business development fund and recently released the implementing rules (exposure draft). These rules stipulate that key municipal service outsourcing companies may obtain subsidies up to 300,000 yuan.

Key municipal service outsourcing companies who take advantage of these subsidies can be divided into three levels: 300,000 yuan subsidies for those with a service execution amount of 20 million dollars and above, 200,000 yuan for those with 10-20 million dollars, and 100,000 yuan for those with 2-10 million dollars.

Provincial demonstration service outsourcing companies and key provincial service outsourcing companies can obtain support with a proportion of 1:0.5, and financial aid of no more than 300,000 yuan for each enterprise.

In addition, those companies who explore international trade and service markets can also obtain a subsidy of up to 300,000 yuan.

Enterprises that introduce, assimilate, and innovate overseas advanced technologies while acquiring national- and provincial-level fund support can obtain support with the proportion of 1:0.5. Financial support in this situation will be capped at a maximum of 200,000 yuan.

These newly implemented rules can also support companies in Zhongshan to develop foreign cultural trade and identify key enterprises and projects related to cultural exports. These endeavors can be supported with a fund proportion of 1:1 and a maximum limit of 100,000 yuan for each company.
