According to Decision on Revising “Arrangement on National Holidays and Festivals” by the State Council and Notice on Arrangement of Some Holidays and Festivals of 2009 by the General Office of the State Council, holiday arrangements on New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, Tomb-sweeping Day, May Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day are as follows:

?. New Year’s Day: holidays last for three days from January 1st to 3rd. January 4th (Sunday) is workday. 

?.Spring Festival: holidays last for 7 days from January 25th to 31st (from the eve of the Lunar New Year to the 6th of the first month in lunar calendar). January 24th (Saturday) and February 1st (Sunday) are workdays.

?. Pure Brightness Festival: three days from April 4th to 6th.

?.May Day: three days from May 1st to 3rd.

?.Dragon Boat Festival: holidays last for 3 days from May 28th to 30th. May 31st (Sunday) is workday

?.National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival: holidays last for 8 days from October 1st to 8th. September 27th (Sunday) and October 10th (Saturday) are workdays
