At the 11th National Congress of Returned Overseas Chinese and Their Relatives held on August 31, the Zhongshan Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese (ZSFROC) once again received the prestigious honor, being awarded as a national outstanding organization by the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese (ACFROC).

Since 1999, the ZSFROC has won the national outstanding organization title jointly presented by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the ACFROC. It has also been honored three times with the outstanding organization title jointly issued by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council and the ACFROC, and once with the outstanding group title issued by the ACFROC.
