Zhongshan residents who have received or about to receive international mails and parcels please be reminded of the following:

1. Those who have recently received international mails shall take a nucleic acid test within 3 days.

2. It is advised to minimize purchases of goods from severely-hit countries and regions during the period of high incidence of overseas epidemic.

3. It is advised to ask the courier to disinfect the contents before collecting the parcels if it is possible. Picking up the parcels in an open space and contactless handover is recommended.

4. If the service provider has set up fixed locations for parcel pick-up, it is advised to follow the instructions. If a sign-in in person is necessary, please keep a safe distance from the courier.

5. Try to unpack outdoors, and not to take the outer wrapping home. Dispose of it according household garbage classification. If you need to take the package home, use chlorine disinfectant or 75% alcohol to fully disinfect the content and outer wrapping.

6. When receiving mails or goods from overseas , wear masks and disposable gloves properly to reduce direct contact.

7. Remove gloves, change masks and wash hands with running water or use hand disinfectant in a timely manner after handling the mail, and avoid touching mouth, eyes or nose with unclean hands.
