In order to encourage and support young people from Hong Kong who wish to work in Zhongshan, the ZSHRSSB proactively offers policy support and services to these first two participants of the plan, hoping to encourage more Hong Kong and Macao youth move here and join in the development of the Greater Bay Area.

According to the "Greater Bay Area Youth Employment Plan Living Allowance" policy, eligible young people from Hong Kong and Macao can get a living allowance of 1,000 yuan per person per month for a maximum of 18 months.

"The 'Greater Bay Area Youth Employment Plan' has given me an opportunity to learn and practice my skills," said Lee Chun-hang, a Hong Kong native who works as an assistant electrical engineer in Zhongshan-based company Hongrita.
