According to the recently-released 14th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development and the Long-Range Objectives Through the Year 2035, Cuiheng New District is now looking for urgently needed industrial and skilled professionals in such areas as biomedicine, intelligent manufacturing and digital economy from the globe and will implement a more relaxed supporting vocational qualification admittance system for these professionals.

To attract high-level innovative talent, Cuiheng New District will implement a set of 16 new policies in line with those of other areas, such as Qianhai, Nansha, Hengqin and Songshan Lake, and it will strive to become a source of highly qualified experts and a perfect place for talent development.

Cuiheng New District will provide support to the Macao-Zhongshan Youth Innovation Pioneer Park in terms of basic R&D and applied achievement transformation and strengthen support for Hong Kong- and Macao-funded micro, small and medium businesses and high-growth projects.

Additionally, it will build development platforms for top talent, such as the WRSA Zhongshan Base, the Cuiheng Branch of ZOS-Park, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base and workstations for overseas talent, so as to promote exchanges among top talented persons and the introduction of high-end teams and projects at home and abroad.

According to an official of Cuiheng New District, efforts will be put in the further development of Zhongshan International Talent Hub, the construction of an international community in the western part of Cuiheng New District and the establishment of a cross-border talent flow mechanism to boost the coordinated development of industries, projects, technologies and talented persons. Cuiheng New District will also vigorously implement flexible expert introduction policies and support the establishment of offshore remote R&D centers for the transformation of sci-tech achievements.
