The foundation laying ceremony for Akeso Bay Area Industrial Park was held in Tsuihang New District (THND) on the morning of December 2.

With a total investment of over 2.5 billion yuan, the industrial park covers an area of 11.12 hectares and integrates the R&D of innovative antibody drugs as well as the production and sales of unadulterated liquids and other preparations.

Established in 2012, Akeso Biopharma Inc is a flagship innovative drug enterprise that is based out of and successful in Zhongshan. Over the past 8 years, the company has focused on the development of innovative antibody drugs to treat tumors, autoimmunity, inflammation, metabolism-related diseases, and other major diseases, and has established more than 20 innovative antibody drugs R&D product lines and teams with completely independent intellectual property rights.

Akeso was listed on the main board of Hong Kong in April this year.
