The activity of “2010 Sun Yat-sen Cultural Week” will be launched on 12th of November, the same day of the opening of the Asian Games. The activity this year coincides with the Asian Games and the incoming 100th anniversary of the Revolution of 1911.

With the theme of “promoting Sun Yat-sen spirit and building cultural brand”, more than 60 events will be organized focusing on commemoration, culture and tourism, including Summit Forum of Review and Prospect of Studies on Sun Yat-sen and the Revolution of 1911, Looking for the Footprint of Great Men, the starting ceremony of the large-scaled interview of Overseas Chinese and the Revolution of 1911, the forum of Overseas Chinese in Zhongshan and the Revolution of 1911, the establishment ceremony of Guangdong Modern Cultural Association, ceremony of Guangdong Red Tourism Demonstration base, and Messengers of Asian Games in Zhongshan and so on.
