2009-08-25

The Mexican Chinese Juan M. Ley, together with his family members and friends, returned to his hometown Lanxia village in Shaxi yesterday morning and was warmly welcomed.

“I come back for two reasons. Firstly, this is the first time my friends come here. I want to show them more about my hometown’s culture. The other reason is to have a better understanding about the economic development and enterprises here and to seek opportunities of cooperation between Zhongshan and Mexico.” He planned to bring his supermarket executives to Zhongshan to purchase, he added.

Last night, Vice mayor Han Zesheng also gave a warm reception to them.
