There is another Sun Yat-sen cultural theme museum, which is located beside the Rainbow Avenue in the West District in Zhongshan.

On June 17th, in Lijingyuan, which is located at the junction of Longchang Community in the West District and Tanbei in the Dongsheng Town, there was the ceremony to inaugurate the Sun Yat-sen cultural theme museum and to unveil the statue of Dr. Sun Yat-sen. Hundreds of people witnessed this historic moment despite the heavy rain. In Lijingyuan, on the left there is the cultural corridor of Sun Yat-sen, while on the right there is the Sun Yat-sen cultural museum. Farther inside there is a spacious courtyard, on both sides of which there are yards, where  various activities of painting and calligraphy can be carried out. Here, "the Sun Yat-sen Lotus" can be found. It is said that in June, 1918, Dr. Sun Yat-sen presented Mr. Tanaka Takashi“????”( “Zhichengganshen”, meaning the deity is moved by the sincerity ) for funding the revolution. After the death of Mr. Tanaka Takashi, his descendants gave the four seeds to a botanist to cultivate, among which only one the sprouted, and was then named the Sun Yat-sen Lotus ". , a Japanese friend with four lotus seeds from his hometown and his calligraphy
