Meng Xiangjuan, teacher of Zhongshan Special Education School, donated her sand-painting work of Sun Yat-sen to the municipal CPPCC staff in the Exhibition Hall of Chinese Clothing and Sun Yat-sen Cultural Mementos Exchange on October 10th. The 60cm-long and 70cm-wide work is based on the portrait of Sun Yat-sen in his later years and finished through gluing sand. The work has taken her one month to complete with a lifelike representation and hidden lights in the frame that makes the painting more stereoscopic. The painting is now collected in Zhongshan CPPCC Painting and Calligraphy Academy.
