The 2022 "Love Zhongshan" charity evening gala was broadcast live on the evening of February 15.

The event included video reviews, live performances, guest talks, calls from overseas Chinese, and check donation and charity medal presentation ceremonies.

The evening gala highlighted "charity, social welfare and contributions" and looked back at the history of the Zhongshan Charity Parade over the past 35 years.

Charity medal presentation and check donation ceremonies were held during the gala. As of February 14, the Red Cross Societies at the city, town, and district levels had received donations of 74.566 million yuan. The Zhongshan Branch Red Cross Society of China received 8.254 million yuan, while Red Cross Societies at the town and district levels received 66.312 million yuan.

During the evening gala, Liu Yunmei, deputy mayor of Zhongshan and general director of the 2022 Zhongshan Charity Parade Headquarters, presented commemorative medals to the winners of the 2021 Zhongshan Charity "Golden Chrysanthemum" Medal.

Zhongshan recently announced 23 winners of the "Charity Donation Medal for Individual", 23 winners of the "Charity Donation Medal for Organization" and 10 winners of the "Charity Medal for Project". A total of 310 enterprises and organizations and 101 individuals made the recently released "Zhongshan Charity Donation List".
