The 2021 Zhongshan Charity Parade was held as scheduled on the morning of February 26.

Epidemic prevention and control measures restricted the number of people participating in the parade this year to only about 5,000, including over 160 parade teams composed of citizens and people from all walks of life, 12 art performance teams and 10 folk art performance teams.

The donations for this year's parade hit a new record high, reaching 113 million yuan.

Zhongshan Charity Medals were awarded for the first time to commend outstanding individuals and units.

The Red Cross Society of China and China Soong Ching Ling Foundation both sent congratulatory letters to honoring the success of 2021 Zhongshan Charity Parade.
