Zhongshan Red Cross Work Conference and 2017 Zhongshan Charity Parade mobilization meeting was held on the afternoon of Dec. 8 at Zhongshan Conference Center. The conference revealed that 2017 Zhongshan Charity Parade had been rescheduled from the afternoon to the morning, and the start location had been set at Xingzhong Gymnasium. Jian Haiyan, Executive Vice Chairperson of Zhongshan Red Cross introduced at the meeting that 2017 the 30th Zhongshan Charity Parade had been launched.

The 30th Charity Parade highlights "classicism", "depth", and "brand". The parade focuses on the theme "Spreading charity spirit and constructing harmonious homeland with joint efforts". Charity sale and other 30th anniversary commemoration activities will be held. A charity parade propaganda film is planned to be shot. The time for the parade has been rescheduled. Adjustment No. 1: time for gathering has been set from 8:00 am to 9:30 am, and the start-up ceremony has been set at 10:00 am. Adjustment No. 2: the parade will be started at Xingzhong Gymnasium with large-scale performances. Adjustment No. 3: the parade will be organized according to phalanges. Adjustment No. 4: A 30th anniversary parade phalanx will be organized.
