Municipal Development and Reform Bureau and Municipal Education Bureau has released the Notice on Further Improving Charge Management in Private Middle and Primary Schools and four charge items are clarified, including school sundry fee, accommodation fee, service charge and collecting fees.

Under profit impulsion, there are many illegal acts existing in private middle and primary schools, such as arbitrary charge and violation of school running, which greatly infringe upon students lawful rights and interests. Therefore, it is very necessary and laudable to release the notice in clearly clarifying the charge standards and details to better standardize the running of relevant schools.
