Volunteers in the Western District have got around the street on the afternoon of Jan. 11 to raise money for 2014 Charity Parade. Some artists write spring couplets on the scene, which attract quite a few visitors and some works are sold out as soon as they are finished.

Henglan Town held 2014 Happy Life Cup New Year Walking with the theme of “education aid, poverty relief, charity and moral cultivation” on the morning of Jan. 11. Over 2,000 people cover the 4 km journey from Henglan Middle School to Zhongshan No. 1 Secondary Vocational and Technical School. The activity has collected over 1 million yuan donation till now, most of which will be used in building residences for students of Henglan Middle School.
