At 20:00 on Jan. 14th, 2011 Charity Evening was broadcast live in the 600-square-meter performance hall of Zhongshan Broadcasting and Television Station. More than 10 performances were presented and a donation ceremony was held.

Vice Mayor, President of Zhongshan Red Cross Society and commander-in-chief of 2011 Charity Walk Yin Zhaoju, together with other members of the commanding committee, attended the Evening.

The Evening received a-million-yuan donation from Zhongshan Golf Association, 901,800 yuan from Zhongshan Municipal Education Bureau, subordinate schools (kindergartens included) and some private schools, 400,000 yuan from the local real estate company Milan Yangguang, 395.800 yuan from Zhongshan Countryside Credit Cooperation Association, 300,000 yuan from Bank of Communications, Zhongshan Branch, 201,200 yuan from Zhongshan public security system, and 200,000 yuan from China-Hong Kong English School. Vice Mayor Yin Zhaoju on behalf of the commanding committee accepted the donation check.
