The Film Card with Love Project was launched yesterday morning in Sanxiang, entitling 5000 migrant workers in Sanxiang to see a hundred films in a year for free. Yangjian, Deputy Minister of Provincial Party Committee Propaganda Department and Provincial Secretary for Radio, Film and Television Bureau, together with Qui Shuhong, member of Municipal Standing Committee and minister of Municipal Propaganda Department, attended the ceremony.

The Film Card with Love Project was launched in Sanxiang, entitling 5000 migrant workers to see a hundred films for free.

As is learned, Sanxiang was chosen as a pilot for the project because of the numerous migrant workers it has clustered. This project is assisted by governemnt subsidies and the film cards are sold at a symbolic one yuan to enterprises which are then distributed to workers for free. The films, scheduled to be 100 in a year, will be played from the beginning of August on each Saturday and Sunday night. The first batch of film cards amounts to be 5000 and activity of this kind will be promoted in other parts of Zhongshan when possible.
