About 1,000 Zhongshan university students will benefit from 8.5 million yuan of grant-in-aid in 2010. According to Zhongshan Management Office of Special Funds for Needy Students, the related work will be further improved this year.

In 2009, about 8 million yuan of grant-in-aid was granted, benefiting 5,937 primary and middle school students and 1,053 university students. In 2010, the funds steadily increase to 8.5 million yuan.
