On the afternoon of Jan. 16th, Liang Yongcheng, a student of Guangdong Sun Yat-sen Memorial School, accepted the grant from Macau residents of Zhongshan origin. She expressed her heartfelt thanks to Zhongshan Youth Association in Macau. On the afternoon, a meeting participated by Zhongshan Youth Association in Macau and Banfu students it aided was held in Banfu Town. 59 students with financial difficulties received grants ranging from 300 yuan to 3000 yuan, totaling nearly 80,000 yuan.

It is learned that Zhongshan Youth Association in Macau is dedicated to raising the concern for Macau, for Zhongshan, and for China among Macau youth of Zhongshan origin. It has organized many visits to Zhongshan. In this meeting, they communicated with needy students and their parents face to face, and shared their experiences in study and job-hunting.
