On Feb. 1st, the volunteers finally reached the Tianhe Sports Center in Guangzhou. On that day, about 250 volunteers reached the Sports Center on foot, marking the ending of the charity walk to Guangzhou sponsored by Guangdong Youth Foundation and Sowers Action, a non-profit charity organization in Hong Kong. They began their walk on Jan. 28th from Hong Kong, via Zhuhai and Zhongshan, then to Guangzhou. The fund raised will be used for the reconstruction of education for the earthquake-hit areas in Sichuan.
