The Zhongshan Branch Red Cross Society of China held a working conference on November 25 at the convention center of the municipal government and announced the schedule for Zhongshan Charity Parade 2020.

It was revealed during this conference that, Zhongshan Charity Parade 2020 will start at 10 am on February 8, 2020 (January 15 on the lunar calendar) together with the handing over of the donation cheque. The starting point will be set at the junction of Xingzhong Avenue and Zhongshan Road, while the podium will be at the junction of Xingzhong Avenue and Sunwen East Road.

The theme of next year's Charity Parade is "Gathering Humanitarian Forces in the Greater Bay Area, Jointly Build and Create a Fraternal Home". From now unitil February 8, 2020, the organizers will successively organize such traditional activities as the "Love Culture Lectures", artwork bazaars (auctions), publicity activities, fund-raising parties, etc.

This year, a photo exhibition will be organized at the newly completed Sun Yat-sen Memorial Library in a bid to review, together with citizens, the classic moments of the 32-year-old Zhongshan Charity Parade.

Zhongshan Charity Parade 2020 will further highlight the elements of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. In the near future, the Guangdong Branch Red Cross Society of China will organize an activity themed "Red Cross Humanitarian and Fraternal Tour Cross Guangdong" to carry out cycling, hiking or other forms of public welfare activities in various cities. A "Tour Cross Guangdong" team consisting of members from other Greater Bay Area cities will participate in the Zhongshan Charity Parade next year.
