High-definition cameras are installed up high in the city, and the system will automatically analyze and identify smoke emissions with AI technology. Recently, such an "eye in the sky" system has been installed in Dongsheng Town, which is specially used to control scattered coal burning.

The AI system, combined with the elevated pollution source monitoring  system, can cover a wider area with each camera covering nearly 37km². Combined with AI, the system can quickly identify pollution sources and pass the information to local authorities, who can handle unorganized carbon emission and illegal emission violations as quickly as possible.

After the installation, the AI system can cover Guzhen, West District, Dongsheng, Shaxi and Gangkou and realize real-time monitoring of pollution sources in these northern townships of Zhongshan.
