On Oct.14, Mayor Chen Liangxian, accompanied by leaders from related departments, made a visit to some heavy-weighted enterprises in Sanjiao Town to study and research on the upgrading of traditional industries and the carrying out of the key projects. Chen stressed at the on-site work conference that the traditional industrial park should seek to upgrade itself into a hi-tech industrial park featuring low carbon as a high-end incubator and a center of high-end innovation, R&D, talents, capitals and technology.

Chen also pointed out that those key projects provide an important engine to Zhongshan’s future economic development, so it is crucial to make sure they will be carried out as soon as possible. As a result, departments at all levels should take the responsibility to push forward the steady growth of economy.
