Zhongshan is playing a leading role in the emission reduction of Guangdong and has ranked the first in 2008 and 2009. Zhongshan has been the only one city so far, where sewage disposal works are built in each town as well as in the urban area. Governor Huang Huahua called on the other cities of the province should all learn from Zhongshan’s experience.

Evidently, Zhongshan has made breakthroughs on its way to the green development and worked hard on building an ecological and civilized city.
